Controlling Servers

We will vote whether the ACP should take over servers. We are not taking over to have more power. If the vote is won, we are taking over to set laws. These laws will be to stop people from doing things mods wouldn’t want happening, and to stop people from saying things the word filters won’t catch. Here are the Pros and Cons of taking over.

Pros:

• The laws will be:
• -No “dating”. We are fine if you actually know the person in real life or from a chat room or even from Club Penguin, but saying “Say 123 to be mine” is just weird and sets a bad example for kids.
• -No violence. This means no saying “snaps neck” or anything like that. It is a bad thing to do in front of the many younger kids who play Club Penguin.
• -No flashing words. I think they fixed it, be just incase they didn’t. These flashing words can stimulate a person with an epileptic disorder to have a possibly fatal convulsion.
• -No hacking. We just report them, and tell them to stop or we will report them (We report anyway, for “Lying and Cheating”. After you report, contact the Club Penguin staff in an e-mail.
• -No rule-breaking. Simple enough, just report it and contact the Club Penguin staff.
• -No robberies. These are annoying and would be against the law in real life.
• -No gang fights. Gangs are “clothing armies” like the Romans and Vikings, that have no leader or organization. We will stop them. If there is an army with a website called the “Romans”, we won’t attack them.
• -No wierdos. They could be stalkers or noobs, but either way they are creepy and annoying. No noobs. We can help new people, but we stop annoying people.
• It is a better title.

Cons:

• People will think we are taking over just for more land or power.
• People might think we are an “evil dictatorship”.
• A lot of people will complain.

So, lets vote! Note, if you vote yes to taking over, we will also hold polls to which laws should take place.

Here are the laws to vote on:

• NO DATING. Regular dating is ok, but we won’t let people say “Say 123 to be mine”, or anything like that. It is just weird, sets a bad example for kids, and can easily be used by predators to get information on a child.
• NO VIOLENCE. We don’t want people to say violent things such as “snaps neck” or “shoots at”. CP’s word filters can’t catch these, and mods don’t like it.
• NO FLASHING WORDS. This means no making any words that flash back and forth. This is very annoying, and in rare cases can cause a person with epilepsy to have a sometimes fatal convulsion.
• NO HACKING. Duh. No hacking.
• NO ROBBERIES. It is annoying, and in real life it would be against the law. Plus it sets a bad example for kids.
• NO GANG FIGHTS. We won’t let Gangs (Such as Romans and Vikings) to attack anyone.
• NO WEIRDOS. We won’t let any stalkers, predators on noobs (Annoying people) to continue to act the way they do. It can be possible dangerous if we don’t.

War on Golds: We have just recently declared war on the Golds. Here is what they have done:

• Hacked an ACP General’s account (Fort57)
• Secretly planned to attack the ACP
• Set a bad example to kids by swearing and doing totally inappropriate things.

This will not fully take place until after the Reconstruction Era.
